Carbon geoseqestration involves drilling deep wells at suitable locations and pumping the pollutants of power generation into those wells. Using geothermal energy on the other hand simply involves drilling wells a bit deeper into the earth and tapping into an abundance of heat energy, which is cheap, clean and accessible just about everywhere in Australia. Using geothermal energy will save huge amounts of money and prevent huge amounts of pollution.
