Solar energy
-
-
The world is currently transitioning from a fossil fuel based economy to a solar power based economy. The amount of energy deposited onto earth from the sun each day is equivalent to the amount of energy consumed annually in the form of fossil fuels. Fossil fuel is essentially the sun's energy that was deposited on this planet millions of years ago. All the food we consume contains the sun's energy deposited here more recently. Burning fossil fuels, to release ancient energy from the sun, produces pollution that doesn't serve the well being of the inhabitants of this planet and is not sustainable.
-
-
The real cost of burning fossil fuels is not reflected in the price we're currently paying for it. When we take the time to determine the real cost, we see how prohibitively expensive it is and how inefficient this practice is.
-
-
Solar energy harvesting technologies are now mature and have evolved sufficiently for us to almost instantaneously use the sun's energy for many of our daily power needs. The increasing uptake of these technologies is already showing tremendous performance improvements and reductions in its cost.

EMISSIONLESS is supporting the transition to a solar based economy in a number of ways:
-
- We have designed, built & installed its first commercial solar power system, which is currently being upgrade and field tested for improved performance.
- We are combining our ADsorption chillers with solar water heaters. The ability of the Adsorption chillers to operate with water temperatures as low as 50oC means it's idea solar powered commercial building air conditioning.
- We are providing carbon emission reduction, capture and conversion technologies as funding and transitioning tools to the coal fired power generation industry.
